What is Lost Saga Reborn?
A free, fan-run revival of the Lost Saga brawler, built by players for players. It is a private project by MSA Origins and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the original game's publishers.
Is it free?
Yes. The game and the launcher are free.
When can I play?
We are aiming for summer 2027. Right now the game is in a closed test that is invite only. You can reserve your name now and join the Discord for news.
What does reserving a name do?
It saves your in-game name so nobody else can take it before launch. We store only the name: no email, no tracking. Reserving does not create an account; sign-up opens before launch. A few names that could be mistaken for the team (such as admin or staff names) are kept back.
Do I need an account from the old game?
No. Lost Saga Reborn has its own sign-up, which opens before launch. You sign in from the launcher.
How do I install it?
Download the launcher from the Download page when downloads open. It installs for your user only, so it does not need administrator rights, and it keeps the game up to date for you. The page also has system requirements and troubleshooting.
Which heroes and modes are in the game?
The 46 launch heroes and four modes: Team Deathmatch, Prisoner Escape, Deathmatch and Crusade, with more on the way. See Maps & Modes.
I am new. Where do I start?
Read the Beginner's guide: the controls, how a first match goes and a few easy combos. The in-game Recruit Path then walks you through your first hours.
Can I change the controls?
Yes. The defaults are listed in the guide, and you can rebind them in Settings.
How do I report a bug or send feedback?
In the game, type /bug followed by a short description, or post in the Discord. Please say what you were doing when it happened.
Where do I find what changed in each update?
On the Patch notes page, grouped by month with the newest first.
