HOW TO INSTALL

Five steps from download to your first match.

  1. Download the launcher

    Get Lost Saga Reborn Setup from this page and run it. It installs just for you, so Windows will not ask for administrator rights.

  2. Allow it through Windows

    The first time you start, Windows may ask whether to allow the game online. Choose Allow for private networks. If Windows shows a "protected your PC" screen, choose More info, then Run anyway.

  3. Sign in

    Enter your account name and password. Tick Remember me if it is your own PC.

  4. Let it update

    The launcher checks the server, then downloads only the files that changed. It verifies every file and repairs anything damaged. When the bar says UP TO DATE, you are ready.

  5. Press Play

    The launcher starts the game for you. If the server shows Maintenance, wait a few minutes and try again.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Most problems are one of these. If yours is not here, ask in the Discord.

Windows asks about the firewall, or I cannot see the prompt
Press Alt+Tab: the prompt can hide behind the game. Choose Allow for private networks. If you clicked Cancel, open Windows Security, Firewall, Allow an app, and tick Lost Saga Reborn.
The launcher says Maintenance or Offline
The server is down or being updated. Wait a few minutes and press retry. Watch the Discord for news.
"Missing d3dx9" or "xinput" error
Install the Microsoft DirectX End-User Runtime (June 2010) from Microsoft, then start the game again.
"Missing VCRUNTIME" error
Install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 redistributable (x86) from Microsoft.
The screen is black
Play on the PC itself, not over remote desktop, and make sure a monitor is connected. Try Borderless in Settings, then restart.
The game runs slowly
Open Settings and pick the Low quality preset, turn off FXAA, and lower the render scale. You can also try the Vulkan renderer option, then restart.
The launcher says files are damaged
Press Repair in the launcher. It re-checks every file and downloads whatever is wrong.
The game crashed
A crash report is sent automatically. If you want to tell us more, use /bug in game or post in the Discord with your info folder log.
