PATCH NOTES
Every update to the Lost Saga Reborn closed test, newest first.
v0.3.27
- Launcher 0.2.4: Website and Discord buttons. Next to Patch Notes, two new buttons open lostsaga-reborn.com and our Discord (discord.gg/lostsaga-reborn) in your browser. Installed launchers update themselves on next start.
- Launcher 0.2.3: new icon. The launcher uses the silver Iron Knight helmet with the LSR plate (same as the game icon). Installed launchers update themselves on next start.
- Midnight is now the default theme. New installs (and anyone with no saved theme) start in Reborn - Midnight, now with its bluer slate greys. If you already chose a theme in Settings, nothing changes for you. Switch any time: Settings > Theme (applies after a restart).
- Polish from the 1440p test pass. In the in-match hero picker the Extend chip now reads like My Items ("Extend 1d 5h", "Extend 29 min" instead of "Extend-29:42") on a calm Reborn pill, without the blue glow round the text. In My Items the hero tooltip no longer pops up over the rotate arrows, so they are easy to reach, and in Reborn - Midnight its name line has no teal halo any more. Also tidied: the Dismiss button is outlined like Scrap and the four hero buttons have room between them, "Grow 80 pts" is easy to read, the Shop's Featured card keeps its text clear of the hero art and lays out cleanly when a hero name takes two lines (the class tag no longer sits on the price), "Owned" sits as a smaller tag tight in the corner of Shop cards instead of over the portrait, the hero picker's view button reads "Two Rows" / "One Row" with its arrow showing in both modes, quests without a progress line no longer start with a stray dot, and the FPS limit row in Settings lines up with the rows above it. Why: these were the rough edges found when we checked the new build at 1440p.
- The shop no longer lists items nobody set up. Society spotted "a bunch of extra items in shop that we haven't set up". 357 cards are gone from the Costume tab (726 down to 369) and 11 from the other tabs. Costume tab: costumes and costume packages for heroes who are not in the launch roster, and 97 limited costume packs from 2016-2019 (Wedding Dress, Krampus, Bikini, Police and others) that should have left the shop years ago. Special tab: the pet boxes are gone. Pets are off, so the pet inside could never be claimed, but the box still cost Gold. The Tournament Coin and the Tournament Hosting Ticket are also gone, because Tournament is off. Three old event items are gone too: the LSWC Fishing Spot, the Hero Costume Package and the Special Medal Box. The server refuses to sell all of these as well. Nothing is deleted. Items you already own, quest rewards and gashapon prizes still work. Each item can come back when its hero or feature launches. The holiday motions and all Guild HQ and Private HQ furniture stay on sale.
- Reborn - Midnight gets bluer slate greys and easier-to-read faint text. . Panels, cards, edges, title bars and the grey text now have a cool blue-slate tint instead of plain graphite. The silver highlight and the deep blue-black background stay the same. Faint text such as "Done" and "Not started" is a little lighter and now passes the readability standard (it was too dim on the dark background). Reborn - Phantom is unchanged.
- Developer K is out of his Santa outfit. The HQ guide wore the Christmas costume (reindeer hat and Santa suit), a seasonal switch left on from the original game. He now wears his normal hair and clothes.
- Default music in your HQ again. Your HQ / My Room played the Christmas track (a seasonal switch left on from the original game). It now plays the normal HQ music. The snow maps in battle keep their own Christmas music, since the maps are Christmas themed.
- The Time Gate map is plain in Prisoner Escape and Deathmatch. Both modes were set to draw the Christmas-dressed Time Gate on that map, a seasonal switch the original left on (it was already off in the HQ). The map is not in the current rotation, so nobody saw it, but it is now ready to add. The Christmas look comes back only when we switch the season on.
- Christmas is now one switch. The HQ music, Developer K's outfit and the dressed Time Gate go on and off together, so they can return at Christmas and leave cleanly after. Every other Christmas, Halloween and New Year leftover we found is off or is part of a map (the snow maps keep their music). Full list:.
- Battle room: the Cancel button is tidy. While the start countdown runs, the Start button turns into Cancel, which stops the countdown. Cancel kept the title of a two-line Start button (the "1 / 4 - you start" note), so the label sat in the top half, an orange-red outline ran round it, and an old left arrow sat a few pixels away. Cancel now has a stop square and its label centred as one group in the middle of the button, with a dark-red outline that matches the button. It stays in Start's place, the same size and shape, beside Swap Team / Spectate / Invite.
- Auto-Start does what the box says. In team rooms (Prisoner Escape, Team Deathmatch and the others), the host's room counted down "Auto start in N sec" and started the match even with Auto-Start unticked. Only VS AI rooms checked the box. Now an unticked box means no auto start in every mode, and ticking it starts a full countdown.
- Relic Found pop-up in the middle of the screen. After a relic dig, the "Relic Found" pop-up sat low on the right and partly behind the bottom bar at UI scales above 100 % (Auto is 175 % at 1440p). It worked out "the middle" in screen pixels, not in UI units. It is now centred at every resolution and UI scale, and so is the dig bar. The timer, Re-appraise and Confirm work as before.
- In-match hero picker in the new card style. :
- The cards look like the battle-room cards. They have a blue card fill and a thin edge. The card you pick has a 2 px bright blue edge, and a search hit has a gold edge. The hero fades into a dark name plate, and a flat number badge like the room's YOU pill sits on each card.
- Every name is the same size at the same height; two-word names take two lines. "Necromancer" no longer jumps up over the Extend chip.
- Level and EXP are larger and easier to read. The Extend and Trial chips sit on their own row.
- Empty slots look like the room's open slots: a dashed card, a ring with a plus, "Empty slot" and a blue Hire Hero button.
- The search row has a real input box. Search (Enter) and Next(TAB) look like buttons: their art was missing in our files, so they drew as plain text.
- The empty square beside the view dropdown is gone: it was the window's X, greyed out while a pick is forced.
- Keys, hiring, extending, search and TAB work as before.
- My Items: new hero cards, 6 per page. :
- Each card has a small portrait with a glow and the name (it shrinks to fit, then ends in "..."). It also shows a Lv plate, an evolution pill (1st / 2nd / Ult.) and one hire pill: Permanent in gold, a timer such as "2d 4h" or "47 min", Expired, Trial and so on.
- Four skill tiles show each skill's icon with its +N; they are grey when 0. A clock marks the slot that is growing.
- Stat chips show Attack, Defense and Move speed. The Drop DMG chip only shows when it counts.
- A "Growing 1:42:10" pill appears while a timed growth runs.
- The Grow button is green with the points ("Grow 80"), dark when there are no points, and dim when the hero can't grow.
- Hover a tile or chip to see its full name and value.
- The old card cut off "Ultimate evolution (permanent)" and ran "Drop DMG decreased" into its value.
- Grow, Extend, Evolve, Scrap, Dismiss, filters, search and scrolling work as before. Scrolling moves one row at a time.
- Discreet rotate arrows on the 3D hero. . The two big white curved arrows that appeared over the hero's chest on hover are now small light-blue chevrons in the bottom corners of the preview, beside the feet. They still fade in on hover, turn the hero while held, and get brighter on hover and press. This applies everywhere the 3D preview is used: My Items, shop, Growth, Evolve, packages, costumes and pets.
- My Items: the hero info under the 3D hero is laid out properly. :
- The name is large with a small Lv plate. "Lv5" no longer appears twice.
- One status pill sits under the name, and the evolution "?" sits beside it inside the panel (it used to touch the panel edge).
- A single calm line reads "193 / 200 · 96%" over a slim blue EXP bar. The mixed red and white numbers and the orange bar are gone.
- The rows are evenly spaced.
- "Permanent" for permanent heroes, in gold. :
- Permanent heroes read "Permanent", and evolved ones "1st Evolution Permanent", "2nd Evolution Permanent" or "Ultimate Evolution Permanent". This applies on the hero cards, in the info panel, in the in-match hero picker and in the Evolve and gear windows (which used "Ultimate evolution (permanent)").
- The Permanent tag is warm gold (#E3B25A) so permanent heroes stand out. Timed heroes show a slate-blue timer ("Ultimate Evolution · 11d 19h"), and expired heroes show red.
- Evolution stages are named the same way for every hero: 1st, 2nd, Ultimate. Some heroes said "Tier 1", "Tier 2" or "Stage 1".
- The in-match hero picker docks low. :
- The window now sits just above the skill bar instead of over the middle of the arena, so you can still see your hero and the fight. It stays there after a resolution or UI-scale change.
- The small 1-6 hero bar above the skills hides while the picker is open, because it shows the same heroes.
- The header has the title, a "1-6 of 12" page count, Two Rows and Close. A forced pick adds a red countdown ring and "Respawn in 8 s".
- The footer has an inline search field ("Enter" hint, hit count), Search and Next (Tab), and key hints: [1-6] pick, [< >] move, [Space] confirm.
- The cards sit on one even grid. Permanent heroes show the gold "Permanent" tag.
- Keys, hiring, extending, search and Tab work as before.
- A new Shop home page. :
- Banners: four new banners made from our own hero art and arena shots: Welcome to Reborn, Hire your next hero (opens the Hero tab), Weekly missions, and Join the Discord. The pink banner is gone.
- Banner timing: each banner now stays 6 seconds (was 2) and slides in 0.4 s. The page was mid-slide a fifth of the time, which is why the Welcome text looked cut off in your screenshot.
- Banner controls: a thin blue bar shows the time to the next banner. The dots are clearer: the current one is bright blue. The arrows are small chevrons at the bottom right, shown on hover.
- Featured card: it shows the hero's own illustration, a Melee / Ranged / Magic / Special tag, the price and "Owned" or "Permanent hire", and a green View button.
- Picks: the cards are bigger, the names use up to two lines, and "Owned" and "NEW" sit inside the card instead of hanging off its corner. An "All heroes >" link opens the Hero tab.
- Prices are unchanged.
- Mission pop-up wording. The mission-complete pop-up (daily, weekly and monthly missions) lost its old-translation noise: "Mission Success~!" now reads "Mission complete.", "Got <30 Dimension Shards>!!" reads "You got <30 Dimension Shards>.", "Claim your reward~!" reads "Claim your reward.", and "Reward :..." lines use one spacing. Names and numbers are unchanged.
- Relics found by excavation are in English. The "Relic Found" pop-up showed Korean names and descriptions (for example the wig). All 39 relic names and descriptions, and the seven "Item obtained!" lines, are now short English, with the old jokes kept and the "~" and "!!" noise removed. Ids, values and icons are unchanged.
- Smooth backgrounds behind the lobby and battle room. The dark blue backdrop behind every window looked grainy and blotchy, especially at 1440p. It is now a clean, smooth gradient in the same colours, in both themes and with HD textures on or off. Why: the backdrop had grain painted into it. The HD copy was then upscaled by AI, which turned the grain into blotches, and compressed into 4x4 blocks with coloured specks. Society: "super grainy and blurry".
- Everyone plays at the same top frame rate, 125 FPS. Nobody gets a higher jump or faster hit checks from a faster PC; you can still lower it: Settings > Graphics > FPS limit: 30 / 60 / 90 / 120 / 125 (125 by default, applies at once). The 144 and 165 choices are gone; if you had picked one, the game now uses 125. Why: the game moves characters and checks hits once per frame, so above 125 FPS jumps went a little higher (+0.5 % at 165, about +2 % uncapped) and attacks were checked more often. 125 is the limit the original game was built around.
- The game now calls itself Lost Saga Reborn and uses the Reborn icon. The exe still had the old server project's identity: Windows showed it as "Novera Client Admin" (Task Manager, firewall and security prompts, file Properties), and the taskbar, Alt-Tab and title bar showed the old helmet with a red "A" badge. It now shows "Lost Saga Reborn" by MSA Origins and the new LSR icon (next line). The window title reads "Lost Saga Reborn", start-up error boxes no longer say "Novera", and the crash window's Help link opens lostsaga-reborn.com.
- New game icon: the original Iron Knight helmet in silver steel, with "LSR." in the corner. . The taskbar, Alt-Tab, title bar and Explorer icon is the same Iron Knight helmet the game always had. It used to be gold with a red "A" badge. Now it is brushed silver, and the bottom-right corner has the "LSR." plate from our Discord server icon. The small sizes are drawn by hand, so the letters still read on a 16 px title bar.
- One button style across the game. . The flat green / dark / red buttons from the new hero cards are now on about 930 ordinary buttons in 335 windows: pop-ups and notices, My Items (Extend, Evolve, Scrap, Dismiss, Buy More, Sell...), Create Room, the battle room (Swap Team, Spectate, Invite, Start, Cancel, the slot Invite / Close, Edit Room), Select Mode, the shop's Gift, Options, guild, tournament, trade, gacha and the rest.
- Green = the main action (OK, Confirm, Create Room, Buy, Evolve, Start). Dark = the other choices (Cancel, Close, Extend, Invite, help and info buttons). Red = actions that lose something (Scrap, Dismiss, Delete, Leave, Give Up, the countdown Cancel). A button you can't use right now is a flatter, darker shape with grey text.
- Why: buttons were a mix of the original blue / grey / pink / brown art, so the main action didn't stand out and Scrap looked like Extend. Same buttons, same places, same keys and hot keys; only the look changed. Tabs, check boxes, icon buttons, item / hero pictures and the lobby cards keep their own look. (Rivet)
v0.3.26
- Relic Lv 100 chest opens in one step. 0.3.25 gave a "Permanent Gear Supply" that, when claimed, dropped a second chest into the present box, so you had to open two. The reward is now the Permanent Gear Chest itself: claim it once in the present box, it plays the chest-opening animation and reveals your permanent gear piece. Suggested after testing 0.3.25.
- Launcher 0.2.2: "Remember password". A new box under the sign-in remembers your password as well as your account name, so you only press Play. It is stored encrypted with Windows' own per-user protection, so it only opens for your Windows account on that PC (not as plain text). Untick it, or change the account name, to forget it. Requested. Launchers update themselves on start.
v0.3.25
- Relic Lv 100 gives a Permanent Gear Supply (replaced by a single chest in 0.3.26). The reward is now the "Permanent Gear Supply" item. When you press Claim on the Relic Lv 100 quest popup it lands in the present box with the other rewards (Permanent Hero Voucher, 100,000 Peso, Famous Archaeologist medal); claim it there and it opens like a chest, then a random permanent gear piece goes into My Items > Gear. Tested on the team's account: claimed, opened, got a Premium Palm Leaf Fan +10 (Permanent). The 0.3.24 reward (a direct gear roll) was not seen by testers because quest rewards are only paid when you press Claim on the "Quest complete" popup, and the Lv 100 quest only pays if it is active (it follows the Lv 10 to 90 relic quests).
v0.3.24
- Relic Lv 100 quest reward. Now also gives 1 Permanent Gear Chest, on top of the Permanent Hero Voucher (pick any launch hero), the Peso, rank EXP and medal. Per Society. Server side is live; the client list shows it from 0.3.24.
- Quest texts read like a person wrote them. 568 quest lines (popups, goal notes, titles and goals in 532 quests) had leftovers of the old translation: "~", "!!!", "??", "(?)", emoticons and lines like "Woohoo~!... Right?? No? Okay...". They are now plain, friendly English with the same numbers, names and rewards. The popup that 184 quests share (the one you see when you earn a title) is rewritten first, then Promotions, Crusade, the PvP mode lines, fishing, levels, the Guide side quests and the hero story popups (those only lose the "~" and the shouting).
- AI opponents no longer look like staff. The bots in AI modes were named "Developer A / D / C / F / H / U / R / L"; they are now "AI Hero 1" to "AI Hero 8". The name is display only, so nothing else changes. "Developer K", the friendly sender and story character, keeps his name.
v0.3.23
- Right pictures on four out-of-roster icons. Two rare helmet skill icons (Soul Charmer and the Martial Arts Expert hair ornament), hero 192's female portrait and hero 159's +10 package showed another item's picture. An old English-art patch from the 2019 client was being pasted over the correct official art, which has no Korean text to replace. Those four patches are removed, so the official pictures show. A full check of every item icon the 46 launch heroes can see (shop, My Items, gear skills, quests, attendance and box contents, in both themes, with HD on and off) found none missing.
- Every hero's Lv 40 quest can be finished. "Operation One" (play the hero for 40 minutes) only counted time in Faction War and Ladder battles, which are off on Reborn, so it could never complete. It now counts normal battles, like the Lv 20 quest, and its text no longer sends you to Faction battles.
- Rewards that gave nothing now give something. The Relic Lv 100 quest paid a hero scroll whose heroes are all outside the launch roster: it now gives a Permanent Hero Voucher. Attendance pet eggs (pets are off) are now Gear Boosting Tools, and the Rare Hero Summon Scroll on the attendance sheets (also only heroes we don't have yet) is now a Permanent Hero Summon Scroll. Daily missions and Weekday Reward Boxes that gave a Lucky Hero Scroll (6 in 10 of its prizes were heroes outside the roster, so nothing arrived) now give a Hero Summon Scroll.
- Daily missions you could not do are replaced. "Play Faction/Ladder once" is now "Play 1 battle", and "Buy a Lucky Hero Summon Scroll" (no longer sold) is now "Buy Normal Space-Time Fishing Bait", so the daily all-clear box can be earned every day.
- Mission days match the weekday again. The Monday Reward Box comes on Mondays and weekly missions reset on Monday (they had slipped one day when the mission calendar was restarted).
- Quest texts tidied. Guide quests name the real Guide topic ("Read <Hero Swap Guide> in the Guide" instead of "the Walkthrough"), promotion quests all read "Promotion: <Rank>" (the first one named the wrong rank), the Recruit Path's first-win step tells you to create an AI room when Quick Join finds none, quest popups no longer show stray "Reward 2... Reward 5" labels in empty reward slots, and mission reward lines are spelled right ("Sparkling Essence", "3 Gear Boosting Tools").
- Long quest names and goals fit the Quests panel. They now wrap onto a second line instead of being cut off with "..." (for example "Reach 125% contribution in Team Deathmatch 5 times").
v0.3.22
- Quests stay in place when you change the UI scale. Changing the UI scale in Settings while the Quests window was open threw it into the top-left corner of the screen. It now goes back to its usual place (over the lobby's left side, or centred in HQ and the Plaza). Other windows already re-centred.
- Quest-complete messages fit the popup. The congratulation text in the "Quest complete" popup ran off the right edge ("Once again, congrats on completing the que..."). It now wraps to the popup's width and is centred; the popup grows a line taller when needed.
- Long reward names fit. In the quest-complete popups a long reward name ran over the edge of its row. It now gets a little smaller, and a very long one ends with "...".
- "Not Enough Peso" window tidied. The item name and price ran together and past both edges for long names ("...Crescent Blade48,000 Peso"). They now have a space between them and shrink to fit. The three suggestion cards below showed a "Details" label on top of their price; it is gone (click the card's picture to open the item, as before).
- Developer panel page numbers readable. With 100+ pages the page number hid behind the left arrow ("/ 140 (1398"). The arrows now show "1 / 140", and the number of matches sits to the right ("1398 found"). Staff only.
v0.3.21
- Title items in English. Every title item in Storage and the title list showed a wooden plaque with the Chinese word ("title"), and the 20 named-title scrolls had Korean writing on them. The plaques now have TITLE carved into the wood or gold, and each scroll carries its own title in English brush lettering in its original ink colour (BATTLE RULER, LAST SURVIVOR, TWILIGHT ANGLER and more). The Jjajang / Jjamppong Ramen packs say RAMEN instead of Korean.
- Battle room banners: no more Chinese name tags. The Battle, Arena, Flag and Pantymon banner pictures showed (robot hero) tags over the heroes. They now read "AI Hero", in the same glowing tag style.
- Sharp Time Gate banner. The TIME GATE lettering in the lobby and My Info was blurry and jagged at high resolutions. It is redrawn cleanly at 2x from the official art.
- Shop: no dark backdrop behind the item picture. The big picture in the Shop's detail pane sat on a faint dark rectangle with rings. It now has a clear background with a soft light glow.
v0.3.20
- AI opponents speak English. In Champion Mode the AI heroes shouted their moves and taunts in Korean speech bubbles - 390 lines over 23 heroes, plus their "Ouch!" lines when hit. They now use the official English lines ("Combo!!", "Knock up!!", "I'm here to assassinate you.").
- "Lost Saga is already running" in English. Starting the game twice showed this box (and the DirectX error boxes) in Korean, which came out as garbled symbols on English Windows. Now in English.
- Last Korean words in menus. The "restore all growth" window's skill / stat titles, the buff-box pickup message ("<name> got <item>!") and the Gold purchase error messages were still Korean. Now English.
- Empty item-slot key shows "-". A consumable slot with no key set showed "No" (the first two letters of "Not assigned").
- Sharper menus and text at every UI scale. Every picture and every letter in the interface was drawn half a pixel off the screen's grid, which blurred thin lines and edges slightly, even at 200 %. Now each one lines up exactly: thin lines are thin and solid, rims and text are crisper.
- Tabs no longer have darker ends. Every tab row (Shop, My Items, Options, Messenger and others) showed a darker band at both ends of each tab, and pressed grey buttons, quest / hero slot bars and the big HP bar background had the same see-through edges. Each is now one even colour.
- Clean list rows, lines and bars on big screens. List rows (Messenger and other lists), highlight bars, scroll-bar tracks, gauge fills and divider lines had smudged streaks or a faint second line at UI scales above 100 %, because their high-resolution copies were blurred. They are now exact.
- Settings: thin section lines. The divider lines under DISPLAY, QUALITY, EFFECTS and the other sections were drawn twice as thick as intended, and soft. They are now thin 1-pixel lines like the lobby's.
- Shop badges are crisp. +BONUS, +EVENT, HOT, EVENT and NEW are redrawn cleanly at high resolution; +BONUS had blue speckles inside its letters.
v0.3.19
- Developer panel: gear is easy to find. Gear names now include their hero ("Premium Death Sword - Death Knight"), so searching a hero's name in the Gear tab lists that hero's gear; before, most heroes' gear didn't match and there was nothing to pick. A new search also clears a pick it hides, so Give can't grant an item you can no longer see.
- Developer panel works in a match. Heroes, gear, items and the other gifts can now be given while you're playing (match, Practice), not just in the lobby, Plaza or HQ. A new hero can be picked in the same match. Only the Levels tab still waits for the lobby. Server change, live since 25 Oct 09:51.
- Shop: missing and wrong icons fixed. 175 shop items showed an empty icon, half of two icons, or another item's picture: 102 in Gear, 38 in Costume and 35 hero packages and boxes. The icon sheets dated from 2018 but the list of where each icon sits came from a newer client, so the game cut each picture from the wrong spot. These 38 icon sheets are now the official sheets that match that list. The same fix corrects the same icons in My Items, gear tooltips, gear-skill icons and hero icons 182-216.
- Shop: the pre-chosen price now buys. When the shop opened an item, the price it chose for you could not be clicked: for a hero above your rank that was Permanent hire, so only the 30 hr hire worked, and items with a single price (limited gear, motions and emotes, the Permanent Hero Package and more) could not be bought at all; Style items could only be bought with Gold. Every price row now buys on the first click.
- Shop data: 24 old item prices now match what the server charges. The Secret Shop costume packages and date-limited boxes listed in the game files (for example 19,800 against a real price of 12,500 Gold) now show the server's price. None of them is on sale today, so nothing changes in the shop yet; this keeps them right if they come back.
- Shop: the Gear tab shows only gear for heroes you can buy. Gear of heroes outside the launch roster (past Muay Thai, and the 13 held Premium heroes) was still listed, e.g. Daemodal Armor, and so was one blank card with no item behind it. The Gear tab now follows the same hero list as the Hero tab (it updates by itself when a hero is added to the roster), and gear or Style items without any price are no longer listed.
- Shop: long item names fit. Names like "Premium Green Dragon Crescent Blade" ran off the right edge of the item panel and the purchase-complete panel. They now get a little smaller, or go onto two lines, so the whole name shows.
- Smoother graphics and faster start-up by default. Edge smoothing (FXAA) and background loading are now on for everyone who never changed these settings; background loading cuts about a second off each start after the first. If you already picked your graphics options, nothing changes. Settings > Graphics > Frame cap now says "125" instead of "Max" (it was always 125 FPS).
v0.3.18
- Quests panel no longer drops your FPS. With the panel open the game re-read the quest help file and re-scanned every quest on every frame (lobby fell from ~44 to 10 FPS on the test machine). It now reads them once and refreshes the list a few times a second, so the panel costs about the same as the Shop (~39 FPS).
v0.3.17
- New Quests panel. (the Quests tile on the bottom bar, or F5). It shows all your quests in one place:
- Active: everything in progress. Quests with a reward waiting are gold and sorted first, with a Claim button.
- Story: step-by-step tracks for the Recruit Path, Promotions and Crusade Tower, showing done / current / up next.
- Heroes, Modes, Missions and Completed tabs.
- A details pane with the goal, tips and rewards.
- Track / Untrack: tracked quests show in the lobby's right column (up to 3).
- The Quests tile shows a red badge with the number of rewards waiting. The lobby's right column shows your next step, your tracked quests and the mission totals.
- "Quest complete" popup: new Later button. The popup still appears as before and Claim (SPACE) works the same. Later (ESC) closes it and leaves the reward waiting in the Quests panel (gold row and badge), so you can collect it when you like. It pops up again at your next login until you claim it.
- Fix. After claiming a quest, the Quests panel and the lobby quest column ignored clicks until you moved the mouse out. Found and fixed during testing.
v0.3.16
- Frame cap 144 and 165. (Settings > Graphics > Frame cap: 60 / 120 / 144 / 165 / Max). For high-refresh monitors. The capped modes now use a precise timer instead of a 1 ms sleep, so frames arrive more evenly (at 60: 65 % of frames within 0.5 ms of the target, was 36 %). Max is unchanged.
- Smoother edges and sharper picture (optional). New "FXAA" and "Sharpen" ticks, and a "Render scale" row (75 / 100 / 150 / 200 %) that renders the 3D scene below or above your resolution. The interface always stays sharp at your screen's resolution. All off / 100 % by default.
v0.3.15
- Practice: all 7 stages on one page. The Practice Hall now shows every stage at once as a grid of picture cards, with no page arrows. Each card has its own in-game picture, the stage name and goal, and your free tries left today ("Tries 2/3", dimmed once they are used up). Click a card to see its guide, rewards and ranking on the right, as before.
- Shop: the Event tab is now the Clover shop. The tab is called Clover and holds only the clover goods (bought with the clovers your friends send you). The old Event and M-Coin shops are gone from the Shop for good.
- Shop: new layout. The item grid is on the left with 12 roomy cards (4 a row) showing full names in a larger font (long names wrap to two lines) and the price on its own line, and the details and 3D hero preview are on the right. Each price is now its own button: click "9,800 Gold · Permanent hire" and it asks to confirm, no separate Buy button. Gift is a quiet button, and Try out hires a hero for the shortest Peso time. The rank needed for Peso prices is shown under the hero's name. The Style preview ring uses the theme colour (it was orange). Home now shows the banner, a Featured hero and four Picks. Search is always there: pick a category, type, and sort, all together. Sort orders have short names ("Gold: high to low"). The orange ticker is gone.
- New players get a guided quest line (the Recruit Path). One quest at a time, about 3 hours: read the Team Deathmatch guide, set Quick Start to AI, win an AI match, the skill guide, visit the Plaza, hero training, a welcome gift (a Permanent Hero Voucher: pick any of the 46 launch heroes), Crusade floor 1, 10 Team Deathmatch wins, 30 minutes of play, the Staff Sergeant promotion and "log in tomorrow". The other early quests (fishing, digging, PvE stages, guides) start after it instead of popping up all at once.
- The Team Match quest lines work again. Win / KO / podium quests for Team Deathmatch, Prisoner and Deathmatch, and their titles, were never offered: they hung on an old tutorial quest that no longer exists.
- Daily, weekly and monthly missions are back. Their calendars had ended in 2021-22, so the server had none to give.
- Quest rewards you can use. Hero quest 4 gives a Growth Restore Ticket instead of a Gear Skin; the rank promotions give launch heroes, a Permanent Hero Voucher or a Gear Boosting Tool instead of heroes we don't have yet or a pet egg; the Snow Town repeatables no longer hand out Snow Essence; a digging quest gives a Gear Boosting Tool instead of a pet egg, and monthly missions give Gear Boosting Tools instead of Gear Skins. The Permanent Hero Voucher lists only the 46 launch heroes.
- The lobby Quest tab shows all your quests. New quests start untracked, so the tab was empty. It now lists every quest in progress, tracked ones first, then the Recruit Path, then the rest, with pages.
- Hero pick tickets list only the 46 launch heroes. (Timed Hero Selection Ticket, Permanent Hero Voucher and every other hero choice ticket): heroes we don't have yet could be picked and the ticket was lost. The daily Reward Boxes no longer hold Gear Skins or Gear Seal Scrolls.
- Hero quests are for your heroes. A hero's quest line (Basic Training, the level story) starts only once you own that hero, permanent or timed. Trying a hero out or borrowing one from a friend no longer starts it.
- Day-one Peso trimmed. "You need items to survive~" pays 25,000 Peso (was 100,000) and the first New Player Attendance day pays 15,000 (was 50,000).
- Quests about switched-off features stay away. Faction War, Ladder, Market, Gold top-up and their follow-ups (15 quests), plus 7 broken old chains that could never start, are now really parked.
v0.3.14
- HQ names. "Training" is now HQ and "My HQ" is now Private HQ everywhere: lobby, top bar, System menu, notices and help. "Screen tint" in Options is now Vignette. The quest button reads Track quest / Untrack quest.
- Shop texts fixed. 722 item texts had a missing space after a coloured word ("120,000 Pesois given"). Hero package descriptions are short and fit the panel. "Perm." is spelled out as "Permanent", and the refund note is one clear line.
- New icons. The bottom-bar context buttons (exit, search, HQ setup, practice, fishing, digging, plaza) and the System menu (Private HQ, Settings, Help, Exit) use one clean silver icon set in both themes.
- Try Out button restyled. It is a quiet dark chip with a silver edge, not a loud blue pill.
- Messenger clovers are clovers again. The gold and green clover buttons in the friends list were painted over as flat blobs by the theme. They keep their own art now, in both themes.
- Midnight buttons have their full border again. In Reborn - Midnight the blue and gold buttons (My Info, Reset Windows, OK and others) lost their bottom border, and with HD textures a pressed grey button showed a dark rectangle with a light streak. Both are fixed; Phantom is unchanged.
- Shop: This Week and Secret Shop tabs removed. The six tabs left share the bar with no gap. The Event tab only shows while the Clover shop or an event shop is open.
- Shop: Master H's Picks is filled. The strip on the Shop home page showed seven "No Item" cards. It now shows seven launch heroes, and their price reads "Gold" instead of "ZP".
- Shop: the Odds button is hidden for now. It opened a dead lostsaga.com page in your web browser. It comes back once we have our own odds page.
- Shop: item descriptions no longer run into the price row. A long description now stops above the price options.
- Shop: "Purchase complete" is easier to read. The purchase message and the refund note were squashed together. They now have room. The green Buy More button stays.
- Options: dropdown highlight fits the list. The highlight bar in every Options dropdown ran far past the list. It now fits.
- Options: clearer filter names. Vignette is now Off / Dark / Light (was BLACK / WHITE). Colour filter is now Light grey, Grey, Black and white, Light sepia, Sepia and Full sepia.
- Options: the Keyboard tab uses its space. It shows 22 key rows instead of 14, and its section headers look like the Graphics tab's.
- New quests start untracked. New quests no longer add a guide balloon and a lobby alarm on their own. Track the ones you want in Quests (F5).
- No quest balloons over the results screen. They come back as soon as the results close.
- Chat labels fit. "[Battle]", "[Notice]" and other wide labels no longer overlap the message, in every chat window.
- Friends online shows "In Private HQ". For a friend in their own HQ (it said "In HQ", the same as the HQ).
- My Items > Equip, new layout. The hero stands on a soft glow with the four gear slots in one row under the hero and the medals in one row below them. There are no labels (hover a slot for its name), equipped slots get an accent edge, and locked medal slots are small lock dots.
- New bottom dock. Messenger, Shop, My Items, Storage, Attendance and System now sit in one centred dock with the game's rounded buttons. Each tile shows its icon and name side by side, the open window's tile is highlighted, and the F-key shows in a small box when you hover. Room buttons (exit, room info...) sit in their own box at the left.
- Launch roster: 46 heroes. The 13 Premium heroes among 1-59 (Sol Badguy, Special Force, Chaos Dahlia, Jin Kisaragi, Kung fu Master, Exorcist, Magic Lancer, Priest, Ragna the Bloodedge, Swordsman Baek, Hazama, Royal Rogue, May) are held back for now: they are not in the Shop and can't be bought, won or received. If you already own one, it stays yours and stays playable. The Premium Hero Package, the Lucky Hero Scroll and the Lucky Hero Package are off sale, because they could give a held hero.
- Training hero list fixed. "Select Training Hero" showed every hero in the game, past 59 too, some with broken "Hero NNN" placeholder icons. It now shows the 46 launch heroes (3 pages) plus any hero you own, and only the tabs that have heroes. The other hero pickers (HQ display heroes, hero choice tickets, packages, the gashapon reel) follow the same rule.
- The Events tile is gone for good. It opened the Oak Barrel minigame. The dock no longer shows it, even if an event is switched back on.
- No more M-Coin. The M-Coin shop is closed, so M-Coin had no use. Nothing hands it out any more. The Piggy Bank from Attendance, and any other box that had M-Coin among its prizes, now gives Peso instead: the Piggy Bank's M-Coin prizes became 700 to 100,000 Peso. Purchases no longer add M-Coin, and the M-Coin line is gone from the wallet in the Shop, My Items and the lobby.
- Start-up loading no longer flickers. At about 15 % the bar used to vanish, the logo faded to black for about 1.4 seconds, and a smaller logo popped back in at a different spot. Now the screen and the bar stay put from launch to the lobby, and start-up is about 1.4 seconds shorter.
v0.3.13
- No more freeze when hovering heroes in the in-match hero menu. Moving the mouse onto a hero the first time froze the game for up to about 0.7 s. Your hero's growth icons are shown in grey until you level them, and the game was building those grey icons by recompressing whole 2x icon sheets in the middle of a frame. Grey icons are now made directly in one fast pass: about 5 ms per sheet instead of 75-300 ms. They look the same. This also speeds up grey icons elsewhere, such as locked items in shops and inventories.
- HQ top bar shows where you are. Your current location (Training, My HQ, Guild HQ, or Plaza in a plaza) is highlighted and the other buttons are dimmed; Battle and Plaza now match the rest.
- Coloured text lines no longer run together. At UI scale above 100% (e.g. "testtry your friend'shero"). This affected every line with a coloured word in it.
- Friend Request window tidied. Short "Nickname" label (it ran under the box), "friend" instead of "buddy" everywhere, clearer friend-bonus lines, and a readable "BFF?" button in the Messenger.
- Results screen tidy-up.
- No more bright grey box behind the heroes: a clear background with a soft glow.
- Award lines fit their card and read naturally ("124 hits", "2 drop kills", "Hit 1 time").
- Titles read "100 vs 80".
- Peso bonuses are shown in blue and EXP bonuses in orange.
- The Squad EXP title is no longer hidden behind the hero.
- The Peso total no longer runs into your rank.
- Five award titles are redrawn in the same style as the rest.
- Jiangshi Survival. The mode has one name everywhere: lobby, room, loading tips, results, Help and quests. It is the Korean original's name, as players remember it from the EU client. The award is now Jiangshi King, and "Surviver" is spelled Survivor.
- Plaza and Battle lists. Are titled "Plaza" and "Battle" (they said "Square" and "Combat"); thin divider on the HQ bar.
v0.3.12
- **
- Give to any player: a Player box gives to any player. Gifts arrive in their present box from the developer, even when they're offline. Online players also get a chat line.
- Launch roster: normal players can still only receive heroes 1-59.
- Levels tab: sets a hero's level or the player's rank, using the game's own level-up rewards.
- Daily caps: each player can get 30 panel grants and 100,000,000 Peso a day.
- Logging: every grant is logged with who gave what to whom.
- Fixes: the panel no longer repeats its status text, shows names instead of codes, keeps your selection after a give, and no longer lists hundreds of empty hero slots.
- Guide: "How to Add Friends" in English. Both pictures were still in Chinese. Every label and button is now repainted in English.
v0.3.11
- **Staff shop matches the players' shop.
v0.3.10
- Shop Hero tab in hero order. Heroes were listed in the original studio's merchandising order, so they looked scattered; they now follow the official hero chart (Iron Knight, Captain Hook, Western Gunman...). Hero scrolls and packages stay at the top, and heroes sold for Peso still come first, as in the original.
v0.3.9
- Practice guide for every launch hero rewritten. Move descriptions copied from other heroes ("shoots 3 beams" on Savage Berserker, a "Seduction" skill on the mages, "Infantry" on the gunmen, "S.F 2" placeholders) are gone; every hero 1-59 now describes its own moves and uses the official skill names. (Found while building the Hero Atlas.)
- Guide pages that matched the old game are updated. Friend requests, Gear Upgrade and Transcendent upgrade (My Items > Gear > Upgrade, up to +30) and guild grades.
- Quest balloons stop covering windows. The floating quest pointers now hide while another window covers them, sit beside a window instead of on its content (the Guide list, the Create Room box, the lobby rail), and the "+" on them untracks the quest even inside a dialog.
- Checked by the server, capped and logged.
- Settings tidy-up. The Profanity filter and "Block Faction War invites" options, which did nothing, are gone.
- New guilds get an English intro. ("Welcome to the <name> guild!").
- Launch roster: heroes 1-59 (Iron Knight to Muay Thai). The Shop, packages, gashapon, quest / event rewards and gifts only offer launch heroes; heroes you already own stay yours. Gear Skin and Gear Seal Scroll are off sale until their features work.
v0.3.8
- No licence warning for staff. Developer accounts got "Warning!! License Date : " at every login: the original studio's licence reminder for its dev accounts, with an invalid date. It's switched off.
v0.3.7
- New: skill keys as combos. Settings > Game > "Skill keys as combos (AS, AD...)" shows each skill's key combination (AS, AD, ASD, SD, from your own Jump / Defend / Attack keys) on the skill icons instead of Q / W / E / R. The shortcuts keep working either way. (Your idea.)
- Deep audit fixes. The hero tooltip no longer flickers on awakened or evolved heroes; switching a room to Battle Mode no longer leaves Invite / Close buttons behind; a slow leak in windowed mode (one icon per Alt+Tab) is gone; the party owner text uses the Reborn colour; the Helmet and Cloak skill labels now check their own shortcut.
- Server. A crashed server restarts by itself within 5 minutes, and the internal server ports are closed to the network.
v0.3.6
- Guide pictures in our English client. 22 more "How to play" pictures that were Taiwanese screenshots are re-shot in our client (Crusade, Hero Swap, Growth, Gear Upgrade, Soul Stones, Costumes, Guild, Clovers). Topics for features that are off at launch (Market, Faction War, Ladder, Faction Elite, Pets, Gold top-up, Gear Skins, Timed Growth) are hidden, and the quests that pointed at them are parked.
- HQ bars in the Reborn style. The Training / My / Guild HQ menu is a dark bar with text buttons (Battle, Plaza, Training, My HQ, Guild HQ) instead of the old picture buttons; an HQ you haven't opened yet stays blue and clickable, the one you're in is dark. The context buttons on the bottom bar (back to lobby, room info, decorate, practice and so on) lost their old red and green frames.
- Free-for-all rooms show Close only on the last open slot. They showed it on slots 4 and 8, as if the room had two teams.
- Shop purchase notice is readable. The orange [Refund Policy] link sat on top of "It can't be returned."; it now has its own line.
- Training HQ menu buttons keep their labels. When an HQ button is unavailable (you're already there, or you have no guild) it showed as a blank black box; it now shows its name greyed out.
v0.3.5
- /bug sends a bug report straight to our Discord. Type /bug and what went wrong in any chat box. The game confirms with "Thanks - your bug report was sent", and a card with your name, where you were and your text appears in the bug channel. One report a minute, up to 30 a day.
- Staff moderation commands. The team can kick, mute, ban and send server-wide announcements from chat. The server checks every command, so nobody else can use them. (Server update.)
- Chat takes 120 characters. (was 50), in the lobby, battle rooms, matches, ladder and the results screen.
- The megaphone chat label reads [Yell]. "[Shout]" didn't fit its little bracket and showed as "$hou|".
v0.3.4
- Start-up loading bar shows real progress. It used to appear only after the logo and then sit at 100 %, because the game's loading steps reported progress on four different scales and the bar was reset to "what's left" when it appeared. It now follows the 104 real loading checkpoints from the moment the logo shows, and never moves backwards.
- Battle room details. The YOU tag beside your name has even space around the text; the HOST tag sits level with the connection bar; Swap Team, Spectate and Invite keep a dimmed icon when they're greyed out (in VS AI rooms they had none). (Your reports.)
v0.3.3
- Battle room spacing. Open slots group the ring, "Open slot" and the Invite / Close buttons in the middle of the card, in the same place whether or not a Close button shows, so the row lines up. The hero stands a little further back, with room under the HOST pill and no clipping at the card sides.
- Bottom row. Swap Team, Spectate and Invite have icons above their labels and "Swap Team" has room. Start is blue with a play icon when it's enabled.
- Classic theme removed. This is a Reborn server: Phantom and Midnight stay. Anyone who had Classic saved loads as Phantom.
- Guide pictures in English. 20 of the "How to play" pictures that were captions over game art now carry English captions. The other 40 are foreign menu screenshots and will be re-shot in our client.
- My Items. The Accessory > Enhance rules fit in four lines instead of running over the Enhance button; the tab labels (Accessory and the rest) use the normal font size, as each tab is now as wide as its title.
v0.3.2
- Battle room cards show the whole hero. The cards used the old bust camera, so a big helmet filled the card and the host card had empty space under it. The hero now stands full length down to the name plate, like the hero cards in My Info. Testers reported this.
- Rank on its own line. Large cards show "Lv 50" on one line and the full rank name under it (it used to cut off as "Capt...").
- Start line fits the button. "1 / 8 - you start" / "1 / 8 - host starts" instead of a sentence that ran past the edge.
- Close only on the last open slot. Closing a middle slot used to close every slot after it, because the game counts team size, not slots.
- Classic theme fixes. The selected entry in the PLAY rail is now the brightest card (it was the darkest grey). Player names on room cards stay white. In-match chat is light again over the 3D world.
- Messenger opens above its button. At the left of the dock, not on the far right.
- Hero cards (My Info). The level moved to the bottom-left so it no longer collides with the Try Out button.
- Shop buy panel. BONUS / EVENT badges no longer cover the price.
- Text. "100% vs 80%" in the team score line (the space was missing), "In a room" in the friends list instead of "In battle", "Preview Costume" fits its button, plus about 140 smaller text fixes from the full button audit (glued words, key hints like "Close (ESC)", tournament map names).
- Christmas quests. Are off until 23 Dec now that the server has been restarted.
v0.3.1
- Lobby money line shows Peso and Gold only. Event and mission coins (Santa Coin, M-Coin) were being squeezed into the same line and didn't fit; they stay in My Items and the shops that take them.
- Christmas quests wait for December. The five "Merry Christmas" quests had an old 2020 date window the server wasn't honouring, so they were live in October and paying out Santa Coins. They're now set to 23 Dec 2026 – 13 Jan 2027 and switch on by themselves.
- 1 VS 1 button matches its neighbours. It used a flat frame while Create Room and Quick Join use the bevelled one; in Classic the difference showed. All three share the bevelled style now (the Today / Ranked variants too).
v0.3.0
- No more stutter in the in-match hero menu. Moving the mouse across heroes froze the game for a moment each time: the hero tooltip was rebuilding itself every frame and the game was throwing away and reloading the heroes' icon sheets on every hover. The tooltip now rebuilds only when you move to a different hero, and icon sheets stay loaded once seen.
- Battle room (new layout, part 3): the player cards. Tall cards with the hero, a HOST badge (crown), a YOU tag on your own card, ping, rank icon and rank name; open slots show a ring and "Open slot", closed slots a lock. The banner is shorter (the mode and map pickers and the score chip sit right under the title), so the cards have more room; teams of 5-8 get two rows of compact cards. A small "+" next to each team's count opens one more slot (host only), which is how 5v5 to 8v8 rooms are made now. Open slots carry Invite and Close buttons (closed slots an Open button, host only), and the Start button shows "n / max in the room" with who starts the match. The AI-room difficulty chip reads "Level" so it no longer runs into its value.
- Developer overlays and commands removed from the game build. A player saw blue wireframe boxes with labels (rbox351…) all over Fire Temple: those are the monster-path boxes the developers used while building tower-defence maps. Our build was compiled without the original release flag, so 310 developer-only pieces of code were still in: that overlay, developer chat commands (open a window by name, texture tools, growth level-up), and the switched-off idle check (the game normally notices a player who stops pressing keys or dealing damage mid-match). The client is now built the way the original release was, so all of that is gone.
v0.2.8
- Lobby buttons re-ordered. Create Room on the left, Quick Join (with its settings cog) in the middle, 1 VS 1 on the right, all three the same width. Create Room's label now has the same dark outline as the other two.
- "1 VS 1" everywhere. The mode was written 1v1, 1vs1 or 1VS1 depending on the screen (418 lines). Chat macro words and the "1v1 Me Bro" title item keep their spelling.
- 1 VS 1 window. The description no longer runs off the right edge, the event line fits the window, and the streak row reads "Best Streak 0 · ( Current 0 )" with the words and the numbers spaced from the real text width instead of overlapping. This also fixes an original bug that drew a 3-digit current streak over the left side.
- Room info panel (click a room in the list). The Enter button no longer hangs below its row when greyed out. The same mistake (a disabled frame 45 tall on a 31-tall button) was on 37 other buttons across the plaza, HQ, ladder, tournament and level-up windows; all fixed. The small chip next to the title now says "How to play" instead of repeating the mode name squashed into it.
- My Info. Button widened (43 → 62) so the label isn't squashed.
- Battle room cards. The host badge says "Host" (it was "Room host", which ran past its green pill).
- Lobby missions. The page arrows and the page number now sit on the panel's bottom edge instead of floating above it.
- Create Plaza. The labels are Name / Password / Type / Map / Players, so they no longer run under the fields (the game gives them a narrow fixed column).
- Battle room (new layout, part 2). The big room banner with the mode's artwork, "BATTLE · TEAM MODE" kicker, mode title, "4 v 4 · map · players in the room" line, and the BLUE / VS / RED score chip. Player cards come in part 3.
v0.2.7
- Sharp textures now covers the ground. Arena floors and roads use anisotropic filtering (up to 16×), so they stay crisp into the distance and at steep angles. In 0.2.5 the option missed the ground, which the game draws separately. Anti-aliasing is a different option (it smooths jagged edges) and stays.
v0.2.6
- Lobby buttons centred. Quick Join and Create Room have their icon and label centred with equal space on both sides. Create Room is a little wider, so its text no longer touches the edge.
v0.2.5
- A clear round clock. The time left now shows as a large M:SS clock in the middle of the match ring (white, red in the last 30 seconds and in sudden death). The big two numbers under it are each team's progress to the win, now labelled "% to win". Before, the time was a tiny 3-digit number and the score looked like a stuck timer.
- How rounds end (unchanged, now visible). A round ends when a team fills its bar to 100%. When the clock reaches 0:00 the round goes into sudden death until a team gets there.
- New graphics options. (Settings → Graphics):
- Frame cap: 60, 120 or Max.
- VSync: smooth frames with no tearing.
- Show FPS: a small counter at the top left.
- Sharp textures: anisotropic filtering, on by default. Correction: in 0.2.5 it only reached a few objects (about 200 of 27,000 texture layers) and not the ground. Fixed in 0.2.7.
- More memory for the game. It can now use up to 4 GB instead of 2 GB, so long sessions are less likely to crash.
- Crash reports. If the game ever crashes, a crash report is sent to our server automatically, so we can fix what went wrong without asking you for files.
- Combo voice callouts. The voice lines played on hit combos have a clearly labelled switch in Settings → Audio.
- Discord status (ready). The game can show "Playing Lost Saga - Reborn" with your mode and hero on Discord. It switches on with a small update once the Discord app is set up.
- Mode title art. The original "TEAM DEATH" / "DEATH MATCH" ribbons are back (they had turned into black boxes).
v0.2.4
- Crisp interface on high-resolution screens. Every interface sheet now has 2x-resolution art in all three themes (about 790 sheets: buttons, frames, badges, coins, icons, titles). At 1440p and 4K the interface uses the sharp copy instead of stretching the old small art (Settings → HD textures, on by default).
- Buttons, window frames and scroll bars redrawn exactly at 2x. Clean outlines, smooth round corners and straight, even scroll bars, instead of soft or lumpy edges. The scroll-bar caps were stretched 1x pixel art, which made them look crooked.
- Sharper text. When the interface is scaled above 100%. Letters are drawn from a double-resolution font, with the same layout.
- The Windows key works in Borderless and Windowed modes,. So you can get to the Start menu and taskbar. It stays blocked in Full screen so it can't knock you out of a match.
- My Info. A faint silver border around the Level Detail list, matching its tab.
v0.2.3
- Borderless display mode. (Settings → Graphics → Display mode: Full screen / Windowed / Borderless). The game fills your monitor with no frame, and Alt+Tab is instant.
- The bottom bar hides fully during matches. Move the mouse to the bottom edge to bring it back.
- Switching back to Windowed. Gives a window that fits your screen.
- More English art. The Crusade progress title ("CRUSADE", "Floor", "Points"), rank and result badges, raid and boss names, and Defense mode stage names.
- Newbie Buff active." (the word order was broken), and the "[Notice]" label no longer overlaps names (it now reads "News").
v0.2.2
- English award and result art. The award titles (Champion, Terminator, Executioner, Punching Bag, Fishing Master,...), "Points" instead of, and the Guild / Friend / Best Friend / Internet café badges, all from the official NA client. Also English art for arcade mode, Crusade, league rounds, FAILURE / COMPLETE (they were Indonesian) and about 150 other images.
- Dismissing or scrapping a hero. Asks you to type DISMISS / SCRAP. It used to ask for "FirePermanentMercenary", which did not fit the box, and the text ran past the window.
- Other players' chat is readable. It was near-black on the dark panels.
- High-resolution screens and handhelds. (e.g. Legion Go): Windows no longer blows the game window up, and a window bigger than the screen shrinks to fit.
v0.2.1
- A dark window frame and "LOST SAGA · REBORN" title replace the white border around the game.
v0.2.0
- Players install one small launcher. It downloads the game and keeps it up to date, fetching only the files that changed.
- Sign-in happens in the launcher; no more play files.
- Everything that was staged (🧪) below is now in this release (✅).
